CHEST

The
large lights were fabricated from an old ceiling light panel. The teeth
lights are just 1/4 inch thick plexiglas squares, with a paper graphic
of the buttons behind them, backlit with two 9 watt night light bulbs.
The 12 small lights were made from nylon washers (for the base) and colored
plastic jewel beads with the silver back sanded off to allow light to
pass through. I may eventually break down and buy the actual plastic
lenses. I made the panel removable which I thought would eventually be advantageous for accessing the interior of the torso to change bulbs. |

I
broke down and bought the lenses... I kept the nylon washers (painted silver)
for the base of the colored lenses. They had to be hollowed out a bit
with the Dremel. |

UPDATE |

|

I
have added the metal bezel and real embossed teeth buttons. New large
white lights were also reworked using two night lights that just happened
to be the correct size. I also remade the whole chest insert piece
which fits better and is less flimsy than the previous one. This was
totally eliminated when I purchased my fiberglass torso, but isn't
a bad idea to utilize a removable chest piece for easier access. |
