The Bloop

Debbie the bloop died in the late 90s at the
age of 87 (chimp years). She was admitted to the Marin County old chimp's home in the late 80s after suffering a stroke while filming a car commercial for a local Ford dealership in Van Nuys. Contrary to common belief, no "head piece" was used, Debbie had a rare condition known as Cranius Bloopus, in which large bat-like ears and an oversized skull develop at 6 months. This was of course perfect for her character on Lost In Space. She suffered no ill effects other than looking strange.
