Mount Shatmore was
located off Route 24 in northern Idaho
Mt. Shatmore from
below. Bill had the work commissioned in 1982 after the release
of "The Wrath Of Khan". He was later fined $4,000,000.00
by the state of Idaho for defacing the landscape without permission.
The mountain sculpture was blasted away in 1992.
